- you have downloaded one or more compressed (ZIP, ARJ, etc.) files from
- a BBS or online service.
-
- To install, first decompress the all files into an empty subdirectory on
- your hard drive. Change to that directory and type INSTALL.
-
- You will be asked for the letter of the destination drive, which can be
- the same as the source drive; the program will be installed into a
- subdirectory called VDICTION on the destination drive.
- A successful installation will be confirmed at the end of the
- installation program.
-
- Once installed, simply type VDICTION to run the program.
-
- The entire program will only take up about 8 MB of hard disk space.

- Suggestions for optimizing the Visual Computer Dictionary Plus program:
- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Defragment your hard drive since a fragmented drive slows down disk access.

- Use a disk cache (for example SMARTDRV.EXE).
